For Shen Congwen,Congwen autobiography is not only about identity, but also about the construction of literary interest, cultural personality and spiritual trend. This paper,as a series of full text, focuses on Shen Congwen's novels, essays, letters and biographies, and makes longitudinal arrangement of his creation history,in-depth analysis of his autobiography and horizontal comparison of historical materials and intertexts. This paper discusses the identity anxiety and search before the writing of Congwen autobiography, the identification and identification strategies in writing, and the poetic meaning of identity construction in three chapters. The first chapter discusses Shen Congwen's identity anxiety and appeal before the writing of Congwen autobiography, and the coexistence with it,and the identity search that constitutes the dialogue relationship.A variety of identity labels with dwarf nature and intermittent alternations of self-affirmation and self-negation indicate that Shen Congwen's identity search is divisive and does not form a stable self-concept.This chapter then focuses on Feng zi,a novel with self-referential nature, and explores Shen Congwen's rediscovery of self-identity resources, life direction and spiritual trend before he wrote his autobiography. The second chapter mainly discusses Shen Congwen's self-identity positioning and identification strategy in Congwen autobiography. At the beginning of his autobiography,Shen Congwen regarded urban people, cities and urban education as different "I" and shaped my childhood "I" into the urchins and soldiers receiving natural education, thus forming the childhood image of "rural people",and completed the qualitative change of "I" and "rural people" throush the naming ceremony of "I am a rural person".However,in this article,"countryman" refers to two meanings. In general,"countryman" referring to city people can also refer to Shen Congwen himself in specific context. The hidden "rural" group in this context makes "I" and"rural" mutually constructive. This chapter also discusses the strategy of identity identification, including the dialogue between narrative subject and experience subject and the dialogue between author and reader. The third chapter mainly discusses the poetic significance of the identity construction of "rural people" from the perspective of "poetry and truth".First,it discusses the inaccuracy caused by logic errors in the text and the inaccuracy under the reference of historical materials, then it discusses the narrative gap and avoidance of truth between the texts under the reference of historical materials and intertextual references, and finally discusses the poetic significance of the identity construction of"rural people".Metaphorical thinking and imagination push "rural people”to "myth",which is not only the result of Shen Congwen's identity construction, but also the result of his search for spiritual resources to survive in the city.In the trust relationship of "always like this",the "myth" of "countryman" not only provides the historical source for Shen Congwen's life characteristics, aesthetic orientation and spiritual trend, but also provides a world to be seen for Shen Congwen to stick to his values and rebuild his thoughts.
