Gramsci's Theory Of Cultural Hegemony And Its Realistic Enlightenment

As we all know,Gramsci is a key figure in the development history of western Marxism.His theory has made important contributions in perfecting and developing Marxist theory and guiding proletarian revolutionary practice.Gramsci's most important thoughts in his life were mostly distributed in his " prison notes".Gramsci put forward the theory of cultural hegemony by analyzing Italy's domestic and foreign environment and summarizing his own experiences and lessons,which provided another way of thinking for the proletariat to win the revolutionary struggle,and also provided enlightenment for the consolidation and development of the state power.This article tries to sum up the scattered discourses on cultural hegemony distributed in " prison notes",so that we can see a more systematic and logical thought of cultural hegemony.This article is mainly divided into three parts,mainly explaining the background and main content of the theory of cultural hegemony,and analyzing the practical enlightenment of the theory of cultural hegemony to the socialist cultural construction in our country.The first part mainly discusses the historical and theoretical sources of Gramsci's cultural hegemony theory,thus finding the theoretical foundation of cultural hegemony thought.The second part mainly discusses the basic content of Gramsci's thought of cultural hegemony,mainly including the connotation,philosophical basis,place of implementation,disseminators and acquisition methods of cultural hegemony.The third part mainly analyzes and discusses the influence of Gramsci's cultural hegemony thought on structural Marxism,post—Marxism and orientalism,as well as its practical enlightenment on China's cultural construction.
