The opera "Yo Yo Lu Ming" is the first national opera of Zhejiang Province that originally created by Ningbo Performing Arts Group in 2017.It is composed by Meng Weidong,composed by Yong Zhi and Guo Xue,and directed by Liao Xianghong.It is a rare national opera with real-life realism theme.The protagonist of the opera is Tu Youyou,a Chinese pharmacist who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2015.The opera tells the story about fher discovery of artemisinin from birth to childhood,youth and middle age by means of time line.She is a typical contemporary scientist,but also a model for contemporary young people.This opera,which restores Tu's real life experience,presents the most real life trajectory of a contemporary female scientist to the audience through performances and singing.The author tries to make a preliminary exploration of the whole opera through the analysis of its characters,Arias and other music contents.In order to make readers understand the specific content and characteristics of opera in a simple and clear way.The essay is divided into six parts: introduction,first,second,third,fourth and conclusion.The introduction part makes an analysis of the current research status of the opera "Yo Yo Luming",and preliminarily discusses the purpose of this study and the feasible research methods.The first chapter of the article mainly analyses the plot of the opera "Yo Yo Luming" and the layout of the whole opera.Chapter two analyses the main characters in opera.The third chapter analyses the different forms of musical genres and artistic features in the play.Chapter Four makes a singing analysis of the protagonist's important arias.The conclusion part summarizes the research contents of this paper.This paper makes a preliminary study of the musical genre and artistic characteristics of the whole opera by analyzing the general score,audio and video data of the opera.
