| The social and political significance of children’s novels of Anti-Japanese War originates from the integration with the themes of The Times, which is clearly reflected in the shaping of children’s images by writers. This paper aims to explore the practice of nation-state imagination in children’s literature of Anti-Japanese War through the mutual integration of "children’s image" and "China’s image".Generally speaking, there are three types of children’s images in this period: "awakened children" "suffering children" and "fighting children".It represents three types of cultural characteristics, the continuation of "enlightenment China",the revelation of "scar China",and the hope of "against China".There are three reasons for the construction of Chinese images in children’s novels during the Anti-Japanese War.First,in the context of "war",children’s literature is brought into the flood to save the nation.Second, the spread of Soviet children’s literature in China brought the paradigm of "literature breaking into times" to Chinese children’s literature during the Anti-Japanese War.Third, the relationship between children’s "new personality" identity and the nation state imagination is deep. The Chinese image writing initiated by children’s literature during the Anti-Japanese War represents the efforts of literature to participate in the discourse of modern Chinese society and culture, and expands its horizon in terms of thought, content and form. While expanding its sociality, times and thoughts,it also has the problem of neglecting or concealing children’s nature, thus the children’s images created have the tendency of identity. |
