At present, teenagers’internalization and externalization problem behaviors have attracted increasing attention due to their universality and severity.A large number of studies have focused on the external environmental factors that form teenagers’internalization and externalization problem behaviors, and less on their own internal factors and their interaction. Therefore, this study deeply explores the influence of family, external factors of mobile phone use, internal factors of self-construction and interaction between the two on adolescents’internalization and externalization behavior. As the most basic and important external environmental factor in the growth process of teenagers, family is of great significance to their psychological development and social adaptation. The degree of intimacy between parents and children affects the degree of attachment security between children and parents, and the quality of parent-child attachment is closely related to the generation and development of adolescent problem behaviors. On the one hand,parent-child attachment can directly and significantly negatively predict adolescents’internalization and externalization problem behaviors. On the other hand,in the information age of big data, unsafe parent-child attachment may affect adolescents’internalization and externalization problem behaviors through problematic cell phone use. Therefore, from the perspectives of Attachment Theory, ecosystem theory, theory of social needs and social compensation theory, this study explores the mediating role of problematic cell phone use between parent-child attachment and adolescent internalization and externalization problem behaviors.Self-construction is an individual’s self-knowledge of the interpersonal relationship in which he tends to put himself.According to individual differences, each individual has different interpersonal needs.Self-construction,as a adaptive behavior that regulates individual cognition and society, may affect the generation and development of adolescent problem behaviors through interaction with problematic cell phones. Therefore, this study will further explore the moderating effect of self-construction on parent-child attachment, problematic cell phone use and adolescent internalization and externalization problem behaviors.Based on Attachment Theory and theory of social needs,765 junior high school students in Xi’an were selected to complete and evaluate Parent-Child Attachment Questionnaire,Mobile Phone Addiction Index Scale,Problem Behavior Scale, and Self-Construction Questionnaire. The study explored the mediating role of problem mobile phone use between parent-child attachment and adolescent internalization and externalization, and found that self-construction plays a moderating role in problem mobile phone use on adolescent internalization and externalization problem behaviors. The results of the study found that:1.Parent-child attachment is significantly negatively correlated with adolescents’internalization and externalization of problematic behaviors and problematic cell phone use;Problem cell phone use is significantly positively correlated with adolescents’internalization and externalization problem behaviors, while parent-child attachment is significantly positively correlated with self-construction.2.Problem cell phone use plays a partial mediating role between parent-child attachment, internalization problem behavior and externalization problem behavior of adolescents.3.Self-construction plays a moderating role between parent-child attachment and adolescent internalization problem behavior, and self-construction plays a moderating role between problematic cell phone use and adolescent internalization problem. |
