Research On The Practice Of Contemporary Gongbi Heavy Color Figure Painting

“Spring Breeze” originates from the classical poem "Spring" written by Feng Tang.The pure and gentle character image,and the delicate and affectionate personal trait presented in the collection of poems are perfectly in harmony with the girl image that I want to portray.There are full of troubles and turmoil in the world,but the girl who has been lost in wild and fanciful thoughts brings people brightness and gentleness like the spring breeze.Therefore,the series of creative paintings chose this poem as a nomination.This thesis had a discussion in combination with the graduation creation of a series of paintings of "Spring Breeze" and conducted creation in combination with the corresponding theoretical research based on the meticulous heavy color painting to the means of manifestation and the expression characteristics of this painting.The thesis concluded and recorded the practice process mainly from three perspectives,which are the study and preparation at the early stage of the creation,the problems encountered in the process of creation and the corresponding solutions,as well as the thinking and perception of the whole process of creation at the later stage.I have drawn on the nutrients and inspiration from the traditional meticulous heavy color paintings with my own perception of life and the girl group and have made lots of attempts and exploration of the creation paintings based on the new methods and techniques improved by myself to strive to find my own language of painting and express the true feelings and thoughts with painting brush so as to convey optimistic and free attitude towards life to the audience.
