On The Image Of The Stunners In The School Of Sensualism

In the long history of stunners' stories in China,the stunners of the School of Sensualism are extremely vivid and unique.They inherit the connotation of the stunners from the Chinese traditional narrative,meanwhile,because of the special times and regions,the aesthetics of their bodies are different from the past.This paper selects the novels of Liu Yiou,Mu Shiying and Shi Zhecun,three representative writers of the School of Sensualism,to analyze the modern development of the image of the stunners in the intersection of Chinese and Western cultures.It is divided into four parts.Among them,the first chapter finds the basic characteristics of the stunners from the meaning and narrative history of"the stunners";the second chapter analyzes the body aesthetics of the stunners from the School of Sensualism,and analyzes the mysterious and sexy western features;The third chapter discusses the urban characteristics of the stunners.Like the era of fierce change,these modern stunners continue to break the shackles of traditional values,confirm themselves in rebellion,gain the autonomy to control themselves and their bodies.They stripped away social and ethical attributes in love and marriage,leaving sex,and gaining physical satisfaction and spiritual pleasure in indulgence.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of modern stunners,traces the external influences,and explores the mental crisis of modern people and the complex and deep sexual psychology of men.They are not only the free souls under the unique territory,but also the image of evil women who are distorted from the perspective of male rights.Exploring the rich connotation of the image can not only help to understand the genre characteristics of the School of Sensualism's novels,but also help us to understand the modern culture of Shanghai in 20 or 30 years of the last century.
