This article is based on the Chinese learners of the Confucius Institute at Karachi University in Pakistan.Through questionnaires and interviews,the research focuses on the influence of Chinese level,gender and age on learning motivation.In addition to the conclusions,the paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter introduces the research background and significance of the topic selection,and proposes the necessity and innovation of the topic selection by collecting and collating relevant literature.The second chapter is based on the research on the current situation of Chinese teaching in Connicius Institute at Karachi University.According to the basic situation of Chinese learners in Confucius Institute at Karachi University,the author conducts a survey on the motivation of Chinese learning of Confucius Institute at Karachi University students,and statistics on these data.The third chapter analyzes the relationship between the learning motivation of Chinese learners in Confucius Institute at Karachi University,and studies the relationship between gender,Chinese proficiency,age and other factors and learning motivation,and the type and intensity of learning motivation as the level of Chinese language changes.The fourth chapter combines the practical characteristics of Chinese learners in Confucius Institute at Karachi University,and proposes corresponding aspects from understanding students' Chinese proficiency and psychological needs,optimizing teachers' role in the classroom,adopting appropriate teaching methods and formulating various classes.I hope to play a certain role in the Chinese language teaching of Pakistani students.
