The German composer,pianist,and music critic Robert Schumann of the Romantic period wrote a total of three piano Sonatas.His "First Piano Sonata" was written in 1833-1835.From this work,he officially began to use large scales of Sonata style.For this Sonata,he wrote in a letter to Clara: "This is my only voice for you."
