The German composer,pianist,and music critic Robert Schumann of the Romantic period wrote a total of three piano Sonatas.His "First Piano Sonata" was written in 1833-1835.From this work,he officially began to use large scales of Sonata style.For this Sonata,he wrote in a letter to Clara: "This is my only voice for you." This shows the importance of this work.The first movement of the First Piano Sonata fully embodies Schumann's creative style and characteristics.This article using Schumann's piano music,the creative background and music analysis of the first movement of First Piano Sonata and the performance experience of the first movement of First Piano Sonata three parts,to understand the emotional requirements of the first movement of Schumann's First Piano Sonata,enhance the playing skills,and realize the content,style,and emotion of this work for better performance.
