Chinese traditional graphic art has a very long history,with a wide range of subjects,rich and varied content and diverse forms.It is one of the most typical representatives of Chinese culture and the crystallization of the wisdom of the famous Chinese people for thousands of years.In the history of the development of Chinese ceramic culture,graphic decoration has always been one of the important means of ceramic decoration,from which we can see the development process of Chinese spiritual civilization.Under the background of economic and cultural globalization,foreign culture has exerted tremendous impact on China.Modern ceramic design has also been greatly affected.Traditional graphics are often neglected in ceramic decoration.Globalization does not represent the unification of world civilization and the abandonment of national excellent traditions.Therefore,the promotion and development of traditional culture is also the need of today's national development.The integration and application of traditional graphic elements in ceramic design is an important topic in the development of modern ceramic design.Firstly,this paper makes a brief analysis of Chinese traditional graphics,and chooses Chinese characters,Moire,and other traditional graphic elements as the main elements of ceramic art creation.Secondly,through in-depth study of these elements,from its development process and application in ceramic art,it provides theoretical sources and inspiration for subsequent works.Finally,through the analysis of the production process of "The Gold and Jade Among them" series of works,more possibilities of traditional graphics in ceramic decoration are explored,hoping to provide some help to the problem of traditional graphics used in the past for the present.
