Scholar's Concern For The World

Since the concept of scholar prose was put forward by Yu Guangzhong in the 1960s,it has aroused the attention of the literary and critic circles,and is gradually regarded as an important branch of Chinese modern prose.It is generally believed that the scholar prose refers to what created by scholars,has both talent and interest,and both literary aesthetic value and academic cultural connotation.Qi Bangyuan,who is revered as the "eternal teacher Qi" by the Taiwanese literary world,engaged in the teaching and research of Chinese and Western literature and is committed to promoting the development and propagation of Taiwanese literature.The memoirs Jiuliu He,which is created in her later years,shows the complex life of the fathers and them,two generations of intellectuals in the turbulent times.Wang Dingjun,who is honored as the godfather of Taiwan's literature,influenced a generation of Taiwanese literary creators by literary works and professor writing.His Memoirs Quartet were created in his later years,which are Yesterday's Cloud,Anger Teenager,Hard to Survive in the War,Literature Life,showing the changes and sufferings experienced by Chinese people.As a representative work of Taiwanese scholars' prose,Qi Bangyuan's Jiuliu He and Wang Dingjun's Memoirs Quartet are outstandingly show the feelings of the country and the feelings of the country and the warmth of human life,which are the precious features of scholar prose.On the basis of literature research,the paper combs the origin and rheology of scholars' prose,and summarizes the characteristics and significance of scholars' prose.And on the basis of text perusal,it interprets the life and spirit of the intellectuals who are the same of generations with Qi Bangyuan and Wang Dingjun under the torrent of the great era,and analyzes the feelings of family-and-nation and the feelings of human in Jiuliu He and Memoirs Quartet.The main body of the paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter focuses on scholar prose,discussing the definition and stylistic features of scholar prose.The second chapter is the analysis of Qi Bangyuan's Jiuliu He.The chapter is combing the historical memory about I and we in Qi Bangyuan's writings,discussing and evaluating the value and significance of the truth of poetry which is the pursuit of Qi Bangyuan in her prose writing.The third chapter is studying Wang Dingjun's Memoirs Quartet.The chapter is combing the historical memory about I and we in Wang Dingjun's writings,and analyzing the value and significance of his literary writing concept and practice of witness with literature.Based on the previous chapters,the last chapter further discusses and interprets the relationship between the truth and human feelings of scholars,and explores the significance of scholar writing and scholar prose for current Chinese literature,especially for prose writing.
