Wang Dingjun should not be neglected in the development of Chinese literature.Wang left his hometown and went to exiled school during his early teens,then he joined the army.In the year of 1949,he moved to Taiwan with the army.His life was full of struggle and suffering in war,and he was occupied with many positions in that year,for instance being an editor,working in a newspaper office and entering into Television Station.He was followed by spies and investigated by government for 30 years in Taiwan.No matter how hard life would be,he still persisted in his literature dream and never changed.Wang finished his memoir tetralogy which shocked the whole literary circle with his rich life experience.This masterpiece that built up Wang's position of Chinese literature revealed his perfection artistically and smooth realm of life.In the memoirs,Wang usually traveled around different literary forms,like fiction,drama and poem.He created an unique style which belongs to Wang himself.Therefore,this paper will start with the text of memoir tetralogy,and then place emphasis on the study of literary form to find the innovation of Wang's memoirs and its' literature meaning.This paper is made up three parts,they are introduction,main body and conclusion.The first chapter discusses that Wang Dingjun's memoirs are connection between the individual and the society,the nation and the times,during this process,He takes himself as the central point,writing what he saw and what he listen from his different experience,which included "student strike",military career and exiled life.It depicts the living conditions of the entire Chinese nation at that time,and it reveals the suffering of Chinese students,soldiers and civilians in the path of exile.Wang wrote a magnificent history of national crucifixion mentally and physically through his own experience.The second chapter discusses Wang Dingjun's personal spiritual growth.At first,the author explores that his hometown creates a good discipline for his literature reading,and his parents emphasis on his education,his religions influences him in his life and his literature creation a lot.Finally going back to himself,the author pays attention to his spiritual world,and exploring his great zeal to literature has influence his future,and this power of his predilection leads him to becoming a literature master.The third chapter discusses the stylistic features and values of Wang Ding's memoirs.According to Wang's personally clear stylistic consciousness and specific stylistic practice,the author explores the similarities and differences between autobiography and memoirs,defining the stylistic of Wang's memoirs.Finally,the author further analyzes the Wang's specific practice between the three styles of fiction,drama and poetry,discussing his stylistic features of his memoirs.The conclusion is a summary of the text.In this part,the author once again emphasizes Wang's memoirs' value of literary form and the historical meaning.
