Analysis Of Children's Images In Japanese Horror Movies

Japanese horror movies have always been known for their unique narrative style,metaphor for real society,and analysis of traditional culture.They are also highly regarded and welcomed by the audience on a global scale.Children born in Japanese horror movies,unlike the images of children who are seen in their daily lives and who are carefree and innocent in their traditional vision,are often shaped as classic terrorist perpetrators or victims of cruel treatment.Their weak bodies will eventually become the target of the demon ghosts and terrorist attacks.The contrast between the characters formed by innocence and evil implies the deep meaning of human nature and society.This article takes the image of children in Japanese horror movies as the object of investigation,combines the Japanese cultural background,uses text analysis and literature analysis,and interprets the relevant film texts to explore the creative roots and realistic connotations of children's images in Japanese horror movies.The first chapter analyzes the image of children in Japanese horror movies since the 1990s.The three subsections illustrate the three main types of expression of children's images in Japanese horror movies,namely victims,injurers and bystanders,and the rich connotations behind children's image performance.The second chapter sorts out the roots of children's image creation,from the changes of children's cognition in modern society and Japan's emphasis on children's human rights,the evolution of Japanese traditional drama and the reshaping of the main body of terror,the "deep effect" of the lens and The three aspects of ugly and tragic aesthetic value are studied in depth,and the reasons for the improvement of children's social subject status,market development needs and meeting the audience's aesthetic needs are summarized.The third chapter explains the cultural connotation behind the image of children,and discusses it from two aspects:First,it explores the unique thinking of life and death,human nature and goodness displayed by children's image.Secondly,it explores the relationship between people and self,people and society revealed by children's image,that is,the spiritual crisis consciousness of Japanese national culture,the martial spirit of Japanese worship,and the contradictory thought of Japanese duality.For today's Japanese horror movies,children not only become the main body of film narrative,but also the highlight of the film.Therefore,the success of the portrayal of children's image directly determines the level and quality of film production.This paper selects the perspective of children's image as the starting point for research,aiming to provide a new perspective for the study of horror film,and also aims to provide some reference for the future innovation of horror movies in China.
