In the process of visual search, the information content maintained in working memory will affect the allocation of visual selective attention.Executing working memory is an attention control mechanism for controlling information processing.Does it share attention resources with selective attention? Will visual selective attention be affected under working memory load? The question of their interaction is not yet clear.Current study we conducted a mixed design.Eye movement was recorded by eyelink 1000 plus tower,90 subjects were selected to explore the effect of target template concretization on visual search under the condition of text and picture cues, using the dual task paradigm of working memory task and eye movement task.At the same time,we introduced visual saliency and semantic consistency as variables, and investigated the effect of working memory load on real scene search performance. In conclusion,we found:(1)Executive working memory load results in a decline in search performance in real-world scene, which is more evident when working memory load is high. The main reason f is that when working memory is overloaded, more cognitive resources are occupied and less cognitive resources are used for searching. The result further supports the explanation of the relationship between working memory and selective attention based on perceptual load theory.(2)Similar to the results of traditional visual search, the degree of target template concretization still plays a guiding role in the process of real scene search. The more specific the target template is,the stronger the guiding effect it produces. However, this guidance effect is regulated by specific tasks.
