Alexander Glazunuov is a famous Russian musician and composer.He is known as the last member of the Russian national music school and has been awarded the title of"artist of the people of the Republic" by the Soviet government.Saxophone Concerto in E flat Major is Glazunov's last work and one of the best works.This work has a strong Russian national style and represents the saxophone single movement concerto with the characteristics of the end of Romanticism.It plays an important role in saxophone perfo rmers,and is a required repertoire for Saxophone performers in the middle and later stag es.It is known as one of the ten classical saxophone masterpieces.In this paper,Glazunov's Concerto in E flat Major is taken as the research object.T hrough a brief description of the composer's life,the background of his work,and an an alysis of the composition's structure and style,the performance analysis of the work is mainly discussed from the two parts of the emotional lines of music and the performing skills involved.Combining with his own performance experience,the emphasis is place d on the saxophone performance involved in the song.This paper explores the performa nce skills,timbre control,emotional processing,super-high-pitch skills and the understa nding and application of the style of the work.It summarizes and summarizes its own ex perience in playing.It is hoped that this paper can provide some reference for later gene rations to play this work.
