Hayao Miyazaki's animation has changed people's inertial thinking of traditional animation films,and promoted the rapid development of global animation films.Because of this,Hayao Miyazaki's animation has become an important object and subject of academic research.From the current situation,the research perspective of Hayao Miyazaki's animation is very rich.Typically,it includes the summary and induction of the film by text criticism,or the discussion of the nature of perception,as well as the study of the theme and form from the perspective of Hayao Miyazaki's animation as a whole.There are many research perspectives of Hayao Miyazaki's animation from the perspective of narrative theory,but there are many research perspectives.From the current narrative art perspective of Hayao Miyazaki's animation research,the vast majority of the studies are still lacking in the comprehensive aspects of narrative research,especially many of the narrative studies are only from the narrative content,comprehensive research is less.In view of this,this thesis intends to study Hayao Miyazaki's animation from the perspective of narrative art,and strive to analyze the artistic characteristics of Hayao Miyazaki's animation from a more comprehensive perspective.This thesis focuses on the narrative art of Hayao Miyazaki's animation.It excavates and analyses the multi-level narrative of Hayao Miyazaki's animation,and sums up the characteristics of Hayao Miyazaki's animation narrative art in structure,content,skills and images.Firstly,the thesis analyses the narrative content of Hayao Miyazaki's animation.Through the analysis of the role,characters,background,time and space of Hayao Miyazaki's animation in the narrative content,it shows the different characters and personality expression ways of Hayao Miyazaki's animation in the complex space-time background.After that,the thesis further analyzed the narrative image of Hayao Miyazaki's animation.Through the subjective creation of different objects in Hayao Miyazaki's animation,and with the help of the narrative situation of many animations,the narrative image of Hayao Miyazaki's animation was divided into natural image and magic image,and the implication of Hayao Miyazaki's animation was analyzed.On this basis,the thesis analyses the narrative structure of Hayao Miyazaki's animation,divides it into two different structural types through the induction and analysis of different structural types of Hayao Miyazaki's animation,and carries out a detailed analysis of the narrative structure and path of these two types with the help of Greimas'theory.Finally,the thesis summarizes the narrative art innovation of Hayao Miyazaki's animation,and analyses the innovation of the narrative art in Hayao Miyazaki's animation,mainly including the innovation of art modeling,audio-visual language art,and looking for the typical characteristics of Hayao Miyazaki's animation which is different from other animations.The research of this thesis,based on the narrative theory,is a sublimation and exploration of the rule theory followed by animation stories.It can provide more reference and reference for the creation of animation movies to further explore these characteristics of Hayao Miyazaki's animation.
