The Application Of Element Symbol In Badai Ceremony Of Miao Nationality In Western Hunan In Dance Creation

Folk ceremony is the source of ritual dance creation.When choreographing ritual dance works,choreographers should attach importance to the excavation,refinement and application of elements of folk ritual symbols.From the angle of compiling folk ceremonial dance works,this paper takes the element symbols in the Badai ceremony of the Miao nationality in Western Hunan as the research material,carries on the research through the literature research,the field investigation,the case analysis and so on,combs out the element symbols in the Badai ceremony of the Miao nationality in Western Hunan,and focuses on discussing the extraction and application methods of the element symbols in the creation of folk ceremonial dance.This article mainly carries on the research from the following three aspects: first,carries on the overall overview to the Badai ceremony,mainly introduces its ritual content and the element symbols in the ceremony;secondly,carries on the empirical analysis combining with the creation practice of the Badai ritual dance works carried out by oneself;finally,through the summary and reflection of one's own creation practice,obtains some folk ritual dance creation.Enlightenment: 1.We must respect the traditional ritual attributes in the choice of theme;2.We should grasp the national style in the creation of works;3.We should combine the modern aesthetic consciousness with the folk tradition.
