Grasp Of Peking Opera Style In The Performance Of Zhang Chao's Piano Piece "PI Huang"

The piano piece Pihuang is an important musical element in the quintessence of Peking opera,which is slightly unfamiliar to the public-the plate style of Peking opera and the singing style " Xipi,Erhuang",as well as various piano ballads based on the combination and variation of musical intervals of feather,palace and quotient.The piano ballads are developed step by step according to the development logic of the plate style of Peking opera,interlocking with each other,forming an organic structure,and using modern composition techniques,combining with one's own life experience and emotional experience.The composer added elements of Peking opera to piano music,which organically combined western music with Chinese music and carried forward the " quintessence of the Chinese nation"." Pihuang" appeared in the first " Palatino" Cup Piano Creation Competition in 2007 and was loved by the players.This article starts with the creation background of Zhang Chao's piano piece Pihuang and starts with the musical elements of Peking Opera.It makes a concrete study from the plate structure of Peking Opera,the use of tone and the imitation of the tone color of Peking Opera accompaniment instruments,and then makes an in-depth analysis on the performance of the piano piece Pihuang.At present,only a few piano works are combined with the musical elements of Beijing opera.I believe that through the study of this work,the Chinese national elements and the piano can be better integrated together,contributing little to the integration of national elements and the piano,and at the same time contributing little to the players and appreciators.
