Under the multi-ethnic culture of China,the creation of Chinese folk dance has always been a focus of dance creation,because it is the culture of China's thousands of years of history,witnessing the life and wisdom of the working people,in different historical periods,Under the influence of politics,economy and culture,the living environment of folk dance is different,which leads to the development of folk dance.Under the influence of modern society,the influence of modern society on the innovation of folk dances is in the process of exploration,innovation and reflection.This thesis starts from theory,to practical research,and then back to theory to realize the combination of theory and practice.Taking theory as the basis of practice,and then reflecting on practice and verifying the theory,we can come up with a new theory of adapting to the times.The purpose of this paper is to explore the function and essence of "modernity" in the creation of folk dance.The thesis starts with the definition of modernity and its connotation,the attributes of traditional folk dance and its style characteristics,after deep understanding of the two subjects studied.In the practice study,the expression of "modernity" in the creation of folk dance is reflected in every aspect of the creation,but this paper is based on the modernity of "language".Taking Haiyang Yangge as an example,the practice of "modernity" deconstruction and reconstruction of Haiyang Yangge dance language material makes the appearance of folk dance language in the modern choreography and evidence-based,and the folk dance language material is There is a specific sense of discourse in the creation,which improves the aesthetic value and the value of the times.After returning to the theory,it is concluded that the integration of "modernity" and "nationality" can make the two cultures develop better.We live in the present,facing the fast-growing society,the Chinese and Western cultures are intertwined,how do we use the body? The expression of language expression of modern people's ideological connotation,emotional vocabulary and aesthetic taste is the primary problem now facing.The development of each new trend of thought must have its core,and its roots.As a member of the Chinese nation,cultural attributes tell us that "nationality" is our root.In modern society,how we develop traditions on the basis of grasping the roots requires the use of the concept of "modernity."How does folk dance retain both tradition and innovation in the creation,and what kind of method of creation can be supported.In this article,the author slowly clears his ideas and takes a new step in the creation of folk dance.
