Research On The Origin Of HanLi(??)

LiBian(??)is a great change in the history of the development of Chinese characters.It marks the end of the ancient Chinese character stage and the beginning of the modem Chinese character stage,and has the function of connecting the preceding with the following.The use of points,horizontal and vertical,left,flick of pictures get rid of the fetters of picturesque feature of ancient Chinese characters,so "The ancient Chinese characters were extinct because of this" was said by Xu Shen in the book of ShuoWenJieZi(??????).The square-folded and straight writing of points,horizontal,vertical,left,flick of Chinese characters provide writing norms for today's writing,and lays an insurmountable foundation for the emergence and development of regular script.Before the QinBambooSlips(??)were unearthed,it was believed that LiShu(??)were originated from XiaoZhuan(??).After the 1970s,QinBambooSlips(??)let us see a lot of word of Qin period.Qiu Xigui believed that LiShu(??)was formed on the basis of the simple writing of Qin characters in the Warring States Period.This viewpoint opened a new beginning for the study of LiBian(??).Based on the diachronic comparison of the characters of HanLi(??)with those of QinLi(??)and QinZhuan(??),this paper makes quantitative statistics and analysis to conclude whether the characters of HanLi(??)originated from QinLi(??)or QinZhuan(??).Research on the Origin of HanLi(??)can help us understand the evolution of Chinese characters in the process of LiBIan(??)and sort out the evolution of Chinese characters.LiBian(????),compiled by Gu Aiji in Qing Dynasty,is based on the official script of the Han stele,and its Chinese official script is representative.HanLi(??)selected in this paper comes from the LiBian(????)of Gu Aiji.Wang Hui's QinWenZiBian(??????)and Xu Shen's ShuoWenJieZi(??????)are the main sources of materials for choosing QinLi(??)and QinZhuan(??).Using this data and referring to the quantitative statistical method in linguistic research to measure the frequency of word occurrence.By comparing and analyzing the Chinese characters of HanLi(??),QinLi(??)and QinZhuan(??),four comparative results have been obtained.About 67%of the total number of HanLi(??)is identical with those of QinLi(??)and QinZhuan(??).About 23%of the total number of HanLi(??)is identical with QinLi(??),but HanLi(??)and QinLi(??)are different from the QinZhuan(??).The shape of HanLi(??),which accounts for about 5%of the total number of characters,is not consistent with that of QinLi(??)and QinZhuan(??),but the shape of QinLi(??)is consistent with that of QinZhuan(??).There are different in the shape of HanLi(??),QinLi(??)and QinZhuan(??),and the number of such phenomena accounts for about 5%of the total number of characters.According to the ratio of the number of characters in each result to the total number of characters,we conclude that:The Chinese character of HanLi(??)should be directly derived from the Chinese character of QinLi(??)in the Warring States Period.
