“Shape” and “meaning” are of great significance in traditional Chinese painting.In this paper,the “shape” and “meaning” in Chinese flower and bird painting are analyzed in depth to make the concept more specific.Through the research on Li Jike's learning process,artistic course,artistic style and artistic thought,the two different ideologies of “meaning” in flower and bird painting,i.e.forgetting “shape”and “meaning” emphasizing “shape”,are interpreted.This paper discusses the noble spiritual quality and artistic accomplishment of excellent artists,hoping to have some enlightenment and guidance for the current Chinese painting learners,and have a clearer cognition for the learners of various stages of Chinese flower and bird painting.This paper takes Li Jike as an example to explain the “shape” and “meaning” in Chinese flower and bird paintings in five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,the second chapter is the basic explanation of the “shape” and “meaning” in Chinese flower and bird paintings and Li Jike's life experience.The third and fourth chapters are the key chapters of this paper.The third chapter is mainly to explore the reasons for the formation of Li Jike's painting thought,exploring the “shape” and “meaning”in Li Jike's flower and bird painting,which get “meaning” and forget “shape”.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the concept of “meaning” emphasizing “shape” in Li Jike's artistic characteristics,and its guiding role in the current creative practice,and summarizes the whole paper in the fifth chapter.It can be seen from the thoughts of “painting,shape is also”,“shape is the essence of life”,“shape is not good at painting”,“shape is the essence of life”,“calligraphy conveys meaning,and painting can see shape”,“on painting can see theneighborhood with children”,“free pen and grass,do not seek shape similarity”,etc.since ancient times,literati painters have been constantly discussing “shape” and“meaning”,which are different but similar.However,it is worth mentioning that“shape” is different from “like” and “similar to”,so “shape” can't only be understood as “similar to”,and “shape” has more possibilities.The simulated object is not the highest value of Chinese art,but the refining and processing of objects or the creation of images to create “shape”,and then counsellor nature in a freehand way.Based on the study of “shape” and “meaning” in the flower and bird painting,this paper further studies the artistic characteristics of Li Jike's flower and bird painting,and analyzes the concept of “meaning” in the flower and bird painting,get “meaning” forgetting“shape” and “meaning” emphasizing “shape”.First of all,through a large number of literature reading in the early stage,we can deeply understand and understand the concept and extension of “shape” and “meaning” and the understanding of artist Li Jike.Secondly,it analyzes and arranges the acquired data and interprets the concepts of “shape” and “meaning” put forward in the past.Through the processing and sorting of the data and the logical analysis,this paper divides Li Jike's idea of “shape” and“meaning” in his flower and bird paintings into two parts: self satisfied and self satisfied.Finally,combined with Li Jike's classic paintings of flowers and birds,it analyzes and interprets the influence and function of “shape” and “meaning” on the current creative practice.
