The Singing Experience Of The Opera Xishi "Please Point To The Yue Guo By Hand"

The attempt by Chinese composers to create operas began in the period of the May Fourth Movement.Chinese operas have experienced a period of development from germination to establishment,and have experienced nearly a hundred years."Xi shi" is a new exploration of Chinese opera in the 21 st century.Chinese musicians accept and draw on other multicultural concepts,and combine Chinese historical stories to make bold attempts to develop a new interpretation of Chinese opera development.The large-scale national opera "Xishi" is based on a true historical story,telling the story of a weak woman,Xi Shi,who took up the task of saving the country at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period.It is different from the expressions of past operas.The subject matter is rich and the range is wider.The drama and contradiction of characters are more complicated in the historical context.The corner of Xi Shi in the opera is tailor-made for the lyrical soprano."Please point to the country by hand" is the core sing of Xi Shi in the whole opera,and the end of the whole opera.This aria is for the singer.The singing skills and emotional expressions are difficult and have high requirements.In the second solo concert of the master's degree,the instructor Professor Niu Baolin chose this aria for me as a must-have in the concert opera selection.So far,I started with the creation background,character design research and singing skills of the opera Shih Tzu,and deeply analyzed the emotional world of Xi Shi.I analyzed and summarized the singing experience of the opera "Xishi" in the "Please point to the Yue Guo by hand" and briefly discussed it.
