The art of repertory singing has been developed and perfected in European opera, with its perfect combination of drama and music and its diverse forms of expression, and is particularly important in operatic performance. It not only drives the plot and creates intense dramatic conflict,it also drives the emotional conflicts of the characters and creates a distinctive characterisation. The Austrian composer Mozart continued to pioneer the repertoire and embodied it in his operas. For example,in the famous comic opera The Marriage of Figaro, the author used different types of reprise to express the complex emotions of his characters, using them at key points in the play, which has survived on the stages of opera performances around the world to this day. This paper is divided into four chapters, using the operatic duet 'Till the Breeze Blows Gently' as an entry point. The first chapter is an introduction, giving an account of the creation and classification of duets and the context in which the work was composed. The second chapter is a character analysis,in which the Countess and Susanna are analysed in detail throughout the opera, and the emotional changes of the two characters during the duet are also analysed. The third chapter is a musical analysis of the duet "Till the Breeze Blows Softly",and then an analysis of vocal coordination and singing difficulties, taking into account relevant materials and one's own singing experience.Chapter 4 is a summary of the classical versions of the piece, and a summary of the value of learning the classical repertoire in order to better interpret the work and provide a reference for vocal learners.
