Many outstanding poets emerged in the late Qing Dynasty,among which Ouyang Shu was one of them.Ouyang Shu wrote in feudal chaos,due to his tortuous life experience,wide range of poetry friends and profound knowledge,his poetry creation has reached a very high artistic achievement.He argues that poetry should not be confined,unbiased generation,neither dominant by a family,and advocates to learn from more teachers.This paper focuses on Haoshan Poetry Collection as the object of study,starting with Ouyang Shu's life experience and poetry creation,to sort out his poetry to explore its poetic origin and artistic features of poetry and objectively evaluate the position and significance of Ouyang Shu's poetry in Jiangxi literature and even modern poetry.This paper consists of preface and five chapters.The introduction explains the research significance of Ouyang's poetry.The first chapter is an overview,divided into three sections.The first section discusses the prosperous landscape of many poetic schools and different patriarchal systems in the late Qing Dynasty.Under the background of the times of internal turmoil and external threat,the poetic in the late Qing Dynasty showed a trend of change in style and elegance.The second section discusses Ouyang Shuo's life experience and social intercourse in time order from the angle of commenting on people and the world.The third section summarizes the research status of Ouyang Shu's poetry since modern times.The second chapter sums up and analyzes Ouyang Shu's poetry according to the theme content,and discusses them from five parts: traveling poems for recording,expressing poems for times and emotions,singing and answering poems for response,chanting poems for will,missing poems for homesickness and kinship.The third chapter explores the artistic origin and aesthetic interest of Ouyang Shu's poetry.Ouyang Shu argues poetry should not limited to a generation,not based on a certain school,and advocates that the poetry is broad-minded,hence his poetry has a variety of aesthetic interests.He learns from the Tang people,takes the path from Song poetry,so that his poetry have both the emotional rhyme of Tang poetry and the learning power of Song poetry and Song Rhyme.Ouyang Shu's poetry is not limited to one style,and it turns to benefit many teachers.In addition to studying poems in Tang and Song dynasties,Ouyang Shu'g also studied Huang Ren's poems and Li E's poems in Qing Dynasty,advocating that "fresh" should be the key to poetry creation.The fourth chapter discusses the artistic characteristics of Ouyang's poetry.Ouyang Shu values good-will and is also good at expressing his feelings,so his poems have a long emotional rhyme and profound significance.In addition,the poetry of Ouyang Shu is full of images,presented unique aesthetic characteristics.His poetry also have the peculiar imagination and open meanings.The fifth chapter discusses the evaluation and historical significance of Ouyang Shu and his poetry.The conclusion summarizes Ouyang Shu's poetic achievements and the necessity of studying his poems.
