Research On The Expression Shaping Of Dinosaur Characters

Among all animation films up to now,popular science animation with one kind of theme often stands out easily from other similar themes,catches the audience's eyes quickly,and occupies a very unique position in the history of popular science animation.This is popular science animation with dinosaur theme.People are full of enthusiasm for the dinosaur,a huge and extinct ancient creature that exists only in fossils and images today.And this kind of fanaticism also makes dinosaurs,which have disappeared,an enduring theme in the creation of popular science animation works.For those of us who live in modern society,dinosaur is not a completely imaginary creature,but it is not the existence that people can really appreciate and touch.Therefore,the existing digital restoration data has become a good reference material.However,in the animation creation process,the character's facial expression will play a very important role,which is also applicable to popular science animation creation.The paper will collect some representative popular dinosaur science animations from2002 to 2018,and then list them one by one,and take them as the scope of research to explore the creation of dinosaur character expressions in the works.With the existing digital restoration data at this stage,the paper combines the expressions of dinosaur characters in general animations analyzed and studied,so as to enhance the creative awareness of popular science animation works with dinosaur themes in China,and even all works of related types,and find new valuable technological development space,thus providing some new thinking directions for more practitioners in future creations.This paper will trace back the origin of dinosaur characters in their development process.By analyzing the expressions of dinosaur characters in different types of popular science animation,it will explore the application of dinosaur characters' expressions in related popular science animation and its influence from many aspects.In view of the diversity of dinosaur images in different works,the paper will list the shaping factors of various facial expressions of dinosaur characters in works within the scope of study by means of case study,material analysis and theoretical research,and will support the research argument with more academic materials.The paper believes that combining the existing digital restoration data with the analysis of dinosaur character expressions in foreign animation works,we can get some new thoughts on dinosaur expression shaping in the future popular science animation creation on dinosaur theme in China,thus seeking the breakthrough and promotion way in popular science animation on dinosaur theme.Similarly,the paper hopes to show the diversity of dinosaur characters through the analysis of their expressions in popular science animation in recent years,so that the audience can break the fixed impression of dinosaur characters and understand the brand-new charm of these ancient behemoths in their artistic creation in the new media era from a special perspective.
