A Combination Of "direct Cinema" And "cinema Verite"

Since the birth of the documentary has been carrying the pursuit of the truth,to show the truth.Documentary is the biggest characteristic of documentary,the real is the biggest charm of documentary.With the development of documentaries,different genres have emerged.Among them,Direct Cinema and,which were very popular at that time,won the support of documentary creators all over the world and had a profound influence on the creation of later documentaries.The two genres range from ambiguous to antipathic,and to this day,the idea of pure Direct Cinema or Cinema Verite is rarely mentioned,and occasionally only in the realm of research,which documentary creators seem to have abandoned.Previous studies are often limited to the analysis of the creative ideas of Direct Cinema and Cinema Verite,and tend to ignore the specific implementation techniques of their creative ideas in the creation of documentaries,separating the ideas from the works.In this paper,the development process of documentaries is simply sorted out,the concept of Direct Cinema and Cinema Verite is elaborated,the difference and connection between the two is distinguished and analyzed,and the documentary "the other shore" and "people living in theater" are combined to truly combine the creation concept and realization method of Direct Cinema and Cinema Verite.German thinker walter Benjamin used "halo" to define the relationship between people and aesthetic objects and between people.Therefore,in the creation process of the documentary "the man living in the theater",I focused my lens on Ivica's artistic creation.At the same time,this is also the artistic creation process of the documentary.Therefore,I combined the creative ideas and techniques of "direct film" and "real film" to create the "halo" about the protagonist Ivica.This paper mainly takes the creation of my documentary film "people living in theater" as an example to analyze the guidance of the creation concept of Direct Cinema and Cinema Verite on the creation process of preliminary investigation,shooting skills and later editing.This paper discusses how to better combine Direct Cinema and Cinema Verite in a documentary,so as to pursue the truth for the documentary and show the power of truth.The creative idea of Direct Cinema and Cinema Verite is combined with the analysis of specific text,aiming to break the previous inherent cognition of the two and provide new ideas for the creation of documentary in the future.
