Egon Schiller is one of the important representatives of Austrian Vienna separatists in the early 20 th century. His works are grotesque in shape, peculiar in color, vivid and forceful in brushwork, and flexible in line.In his works,he freely expresses his inner emotional world.Because of the uniqueness of its own experience, has created its unique artistic style. There is a sense of tension in his work, both in the characters and the landscape. His short life span of 28 years has left many outstanding works. He is good at using red, black and yellow to show his nervous inner world.Influenced by kokoschka, krim and Freud's "theory of sexual analysis",the picture presents an incredibly frank and frank tension. The desire for life and the fear of death make Schiller's works always filled with an air of sadness and melancholy, which makes the viewers have a chilling feeling.Starting from Schiller's growing experience, this paper analyzes the reasons for the formation of his writing style from the influence of his growing environment and time background. It also introduces the characteristics of his works in modeling, color and unique understanding and application of lines. His depiction of the characters' expressions, his treatment of the characters' shapes and his grasp of the picture's tone all show that Schiller is different from ordinary people in understanding and observation. On the basis of combining closely with his own creation practice, the author deeply excavates the unique artistic personality in Schiller's works, further explores the unique artistic language in his works, and strives to create works full of modern flavor and containing true feelings.
