R.K.Shchedrin(1932 ~)is a famous contemporary Russian musician,composer and pianist.He is different from many pioneer composers in the 20 th century.His music is rooted in Russian folk music tradition,and properly absorbed modern composing techniques in the 20 th century.He combines tradition with innovation to form his own unique musical style.Rodian Shedlin is also a prolific composer in the 20 th century.His important works,such as four symphonies,Four Orchestral concertos,Five Piano Concertos and some dramatic works,are often performed all over the world.This paper takes Rodian Sheldlin's Concerto for the First Band as the research object,which consists of three parts:introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction mainly gives an overview of the origin,research status,significance and research methods of the topic.The main body is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces Rodian Shedlin's life,general situation of creation and the creation of "The First Band Concerto".The second to fourth chapters are the key parts of this paper.The creative techniques of "The First Band Concerto" are analyzed in detail from the aspects of musical structure,thematic characteristics,harmony,tonality,Orchestra and texture.Finally,in the concluding part,the author explains the composing technique and style of the First Band Concerto,as well as the artistic value and contemporary significance of the First Band Concerto.
