Experience In Playing Piano Solo "Elegy"

Piano solo Elegy is the first song of the Russian romantic musician Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninov's Fantasy Sketches op.3.As the first song in Fantasy Sketches,Elegy not only has its unique skills but also shows characteristics of Rachmaninov,both contains romanticism and reveals the national flavor of Russia.This paper mainly from three parts to write the performance experience of Elegy.The first part is the introduction of Rachmaninov and the background and creative features of Elegy.The second part is to expound from the three aspects of the video study from other musicians,the difficulties encountered in performance and the personal solutions and the treatment of musical characteristics in performance before my performance.The third part is a reflection and experience on the performance of Elegy before and after the concert.I hope this paper can provide some help and references for the people who choose this song and play in the concert.
