OLD PARTNERS is a documentary about my grandmother and grandfather how to handle life problems accompanied with each other.One of their aspirations was to see their only grandson having marriage.May 6.2015 was the day their 56th wedding anniversary.Their grandson,who was backing home to participate his friend's wedding,took them to take a group photo.They were quarreled with each other in the day Dragon Boat Festival.After that,grandfather used to feel physically uncomfortable.Grandmother called her daughter to take him checking body.Unexpectedly,grandfather diagnosed with cancer.With accompanied and prayer of grandmother,grandfather was recovery of health.But the most excited thing was their grandson being engaged in mid-autumn Festival.The marriage life of grandmother and grandfather and the process towards to marriage of their grandson were jointly expressing the theme of the documentary movie,marriage and accompany.This essay was a director explained of the documentary,OLD PARTNERS.And it widely expressed the process from an idea to a production as well as the obtained thought from six aspects,background of the topic,contents,concepts,analysis of the movie,comparison with other similar works,difficulties and specific steps.
