Lingnan ocean culture is an important part of Chinese ocean culture,and its unique geographical location creates typical characteristics that are different from ocean culture in other regions.The dance art under the influence of Lingnan ocean culture carries the distinctive flavor of Lingnan.It has unique characteristics in the choice of subject matter,the selection of theme,and the expression of implied meaning.It further increases the diversity of dance art in Lingnan area through modern dance creation.,and uniqueness,in the commonality of dance reflects the personality characteristics.Mr.Chen Qiao proposed “Lingnan Dance” in 2005,and“Lingnan Dance” focused on the Lingnan dance style presented by the cultural phenomenon in Lingnan.The works created by modern dance in Lingnan marine culture are rare.The modern dance choreographer advocates the innovation of style,form,content,and seeks the value of creation in the pursuit of new and change.Society advancing following with time over,and art as an important force of culture is affecting people's cultural literacy.This paper through the definition of Lingnan ocean culture,refined the express and style of dance creation from the perspective of Lingnan ocean culture,then deeply explores the theme of the dance creation inspired by modern dance creation in Lingnan ocean culture.With the modern dance compilation,Lingnan ocean culture and modern dance as scope of clear and wide to deep analyzed its actual situation and future development direction.I created a special theme party " Origination ocean,maintain initial " by combining theory and practice,such as: "Fish"," Intertwine ","Wave",etc.,can find out the results of the harvest of the modern dance editorial research institute from the perspective of Lingnan occean culture.I hoped this research will promote the research on Lingnan ocean culture and modern dance,and also provide reference value for later generation research.
