Tsunzi's Religious View And Its Contemporary Value Research

From the religious beliefs of ancestors in ancient times to the worship of "heaven" in Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties,to the views of Confucius and Mencius on gods and "heaven",that are ideological Origin of Tsunzi's religious view.But,The society of the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Period was in chaos and disorder everywhere,This phenomenon resulted in people's belief in "heaven" and "emperor" to be shaken,and various schools of thought contended with each other.Under this background,Tsunzi put forward a new interpretation of the concept of ghosts and gods,different from the view of Confucius and Mencius of the view of religion.Tsunzi emphasized the separation of human and �heaven�,believed that heaven is "heaven" in the natural sense,and that "heaven" had an operating system independent of human's will.However,man and nature were not entirely opposed,and people belonged to a part of all things in the world,and human nature is also influenced by "heaven".Therefore,the "heaven" in Tsunzi's thought is not only a pure natural heaven,but also contains the elements of "the morality and logos heaven".He advocated "the theory of separation of heaven and man" and "the theory of the unity of man and the universe ",and does not believe in the theory of ghosts and gods,Tsunzi believed that whether social managers believed or what they believed was not the most important thing.What was important was that rulers could use people's religious beliefs to promote social moralization.He regarded this belief as one of the rational factors to support state managers and " courtesy culture ",and believed that this belief was one of the characteristics of a nation and an important way to help people maintain their national root consciousness.Although his "courtesy culture" of respected heaven and worshiped ancestors had certain religious color and the function of "disguising nature",it helped to guide people to be good,cultivate good moral character and loyalty and love,and then created a harmonious and orderly social atmosphere,which was one of the positive forces to establish the national order.Xunzi's religious view is more about �sacrificial� and �respecting the gods�,which is different from modern religion.As a rational atheist,Tsunzi advocated the theory of religious culture and the policy according to the local custom.His cultural thought of "courtesy culture" in his religious outlook has strengthened our belief in Marxism,broken down superstition,correctly recognized the relationship between science and religion,correctly distinguished the relationship between religious belief and superstition,and promoted harmonious society by formulating appropriate management methods.,there are still something to learn from the establishment of social order.
