Study On The Pottery Yan In The Middle And Lower Reaches Of The Yangtze River In The Pre-Qin Period

As a kind of ceramic utensils,Pottery Yan’s unique functional advantages have continued from the Neolithic Age to the historical period and become an indispensable part of ancient Chinese food culture.Since the pre-Qin period,with the gradual deepening of the society,the shape and function of the Pottery Yan have been constantly changing.Due to the influence of culture and environmental factors,Pottery Yan’s form has been selectively absorbed and transformed.This paper takes Pottery Yan ’s form as the main classification basis,and limits the scope of research to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in the pre-Qin period.It aims to construct the chronological sequence and regional characteristics of the development and evolution of Pottery Yan,and explore the interaction between the populations reflected in its shape and function.This article mainly discusses the following issues: First of all,introduce the research background of Yanbriefly,sort out the brief history of previous research and related literature materials,point out the shortcomings in the previous research.put forward the methods and ideas involved in this paper on the basis of previous studies,and define the space-time scope of the research.Secondly,to sort out the materials related to Pottery Yan in the pre-Qin period of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,and determine the more reasonable classification criteria for the typology analysis.Through the research,the evolution of Pottery Yan can be divided into three phases and six segments.By comparing and combining the dating data,it is judged that the first period is mainly concentrated in the early stage of the mid-Neolithic Age to the late Neolithic period;The second period is the Xia and Shang period;the third period is mainly the Zhou Dynasty or later.Thirdly,on the basis of staging,the Pottery Yan in the middle and lower reaches of the YangtzeRiver are divided into the following five regions according to their morphological characteristics andregional distribution trend.That is the Jianghan Plain,Dongting Lake Water System,Eastern Hubei and southern Anhui along the Yangtze River regin,Poyang Lake Water System and Yangtze River Delta.This paper briefly analyzes the interactions between cultures in the region,and compares the Pottery Yan in this region with the others in a larger space.Finally,this paper uses the theoretical methods of statistics,functional morphology,ethnology and other disciplines to analyze and discuss the related problems ofPottery Yan.Try to analyze the popularity of Pottery Yan in the region from the use of functions...
