The construction “Kan/qiao ni zhe/na(liang)NP” is a very common linguistic structures in oral Chinese.But no one has yet systematically studied it.This article is based on Three-Plane Theory and Construction Grammar Theory to explore the construction's meaning,discourse function,cognitive motivation,in order to make a systematic analysis of the configuration.The content of this thesis consists of five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly discusses the significance of the topic selection,introduces the relevant domestic and research methods.The second chapter is the study of the constructional meaning of “Kan/qiao ni zhe/na(liang)NP”.We demonstrate in detail that the construction is a typical idiom-spoken structure in Chinese.Then,we summarize the construction meaning as: that the speaker ridicules,blames,or even abuses the listener,because of feeling disdainful,dissatisfied and even dissatisfied with the external image and quality characteristics of the listener.The third chapter is the analysis of the component characteristics of the construction.We analyze the component “kan/qiao ni”,“zhe/ na” and NP in detail.The fourth chapter is the study of the pragmatic function of the construction.Firstly,we mainly study the “face” threat behavior and its influencing factors.Then we analyze the distribution of the style and the semantic structure of the discourse.The fifth chapter is the analysis of the formation of construction.We discuss the causes of the construction from “Construction Coercion”,“Lexical Coercion”and the interaction of them,vocabulary suppression,vocabulary and construction interaction.Then we use Cognitive Grammar to interpret the construction from from three aspects.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this paper and the lack of our research.
