As for art,its core theme is generally derived from the artist's direct and introspective exploration,rather than being influenced by the external environment.This is also reflected in the language of ceramic sculpture.In the language of ceramic sculpture,material,as one of the important elements,has the characteristics of directness,independence and self-sufficiency.The key of ceramic materials lies in the excavation and expression of "slime".The above important factors are the significance of the existence of improvisation.The most significant aesthetic characteristics of ceramic materials are improvisation and accident.Materials and creative methods depend on each other and interact with each other.If you want to communicate with the soil,you should comply with the characteristics of the soil itself.Communication in this way not only excavates the deeper characteristics of ceramic materials,but also expands the boundaries of ceramic material language.Not only that,this way can also be engraved on the soil of the production of the traces and emotions,making the work more expressive and infectious.Thus,from the body to the heart,from the material to the way of expression,natural transit to the expression of "self".For the ceramic sculpture artist,the desire to communicate with the earth around the self,returning to the origin and pointing to the future is like a circle going round and round.In order to seek long-term development of culture and art in today's globalization,it is necessary to pay full attention to the essence of traditional culture and not completely ignore or even abandon it.As the saying goes,"The national one is the international one!" In the long history of five thousand years,the ancestors left countless valuable cultural treasure with wisdom and labor on this land,which showed the unique charm and personality of the Chinese nation to the outside world.Internal is the source of national cultural identity.It is also an indispensable part of comprehensive national strength.In fact,the elements in folk costumes are not only a symbol of expression,but also a reflection of thinking mode.Due to the existence of elements,folk costumes have acquired a unique way of existence and significance.After a long period of time,these elements have been retained through the exercise of art.For different nationalities,they are all art languages of identifying significance,which contain the essence of a large number of national cultures as well as the interpretation of the connotation of national culture.So there is a very broad space for its research.This paper aims to explore the elements in the clothing of the ethnic minorities in western Yunnan in a targeted way,analyze its aesthetic implications,and transform the artistic language from the aspects of headdress,color,embroidery,silver jewelry and moral.On the basis of absorbing and applying the elements of minority clothing,combining with the characteristics of ceramic materials,adopting abstract deformation collage and other techniques to understand their own ideas in detail,as well as the expression of ceramic sculpture,the artistic essence of clothing elements of ethnic minorities in western Yunnan is applied to their own sculpture creation.
