Sculpture has always played an important role in the evolution and development of human civilization,and ethnic minority themes have always been an important component of sculpture in China.As one of the ethnic minority groups in China,the Dai ethnic group in Yunnan has a unique charm that attracts us.This article mainly uses ceramic sculpture as a medium to display the unique beauty of Dai girls,systematically expounds the ethnic beauty of the Dai ethnic group and how to use sculpture modeling to display the beauty of Dai girls,and chooses to combine the characteristics of ceramic materials to express it.After many times of practice and research,it has been found that when you want to better display the physical beauty of a work during the creative process,you should first pay attention to the exploration and exploration of formal language.Only in this way can you better create a work that reflects the creator’s thoughts and intentions.In the creative process,the author presents the sculpture as figurative as possible,making the work more vivid and more appreciated and understood by the audience.The creation of this graduation project and the writing of the thesis have greatly helped the author,not only improving his ability in writing ideas,but also making me more clear about the direction of future creation.
