Analysis And Research Of The Current Situation Of Cultural Heritage Conservation In France

Cultural heritage conservation refers to the process of taking a series of measures to prevent damage to relics with historical value,cultural value and scientific value.As an interdisciplinary subject of history,archaeology and physics,chemistry,biology and other basic disciplines,cultural heritage conservation is a dialectical discipline on the protection of cultural relics and the application of scientific and technological methods.France has a rich cultural heritage.There are 43 places in France on the UNESCO World Heritage List,including 39 cultural heritages and a mixed heritage of cultural and natural heritage.These monuments and historic buildings are scattered throughout France,attracting more than 60 million visitors from all over the world,making France one of the world's leading tourist destinations.This paper adopts literature analysis method,investigation research method,practical empirical analysis method and comparative analysis induction method.With combining exchange studies and thoughts between China and France during the postgraduate study at l'Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour(UPPA)and internship practices at l'Institut National de Recherches Archéologiques Préventives(INRAP),this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of French cultural heritage conservation.It takes focus on other aspects of cultural relic conservation except just for technology research.For the first time,this paper attempts to conduct a relatively complete study on the legislative level,management organization setting,teaching setup,preventive archaeology and conservation,funding sources and specific cultural relics conservation and protection practices.It systematically displays the status quo of French cultural heritage conservation and expounds the theory and practice of French cultural relics conservation.By comparing and analyzing the commonalities and characteristics,similarities and differences between China and France in the conservation of cultural relics,this paper analyzes the existing status and existing problems of cultural heritage conservation in France,at the same time,it proposes some suggestions for the improvement.This paper also provides reference value and reference significance to the cultural heritage conservation business of our country.It should be pointed out that in the future,we still need to continue to conduct in-depth research and continue to enrich and supplement.
