Chinese figure painting has come into being in primitive society.It has entered a mature stage in the Wei and Jin Dynasties and reached unprecedented prosperity and prosperity in the Tang Dynasty.Chinese traditional figure painting mainly relies on the author's emotion through vivid portrayal.Emotional expression relies on the image of characters to convey life,which is based on shape.Since the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the appreciation of figure paintings has generally focused on the expression of spiritual temperament.In the period of the Southern Qi Dynasty,Xie He pointed out that "vivid charm" and "corresponding to object and image" were the artistic pursuits.Zong Bing,a painter of the Southern Dynasty,also put forward the artistic proposition of "describing form by form and color" in his Preface to Painting Landscapes and Rivers.Gu Kaizhi,a painter of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,highlighted the importance of modelling in painting.It can be said that the continuous exploration and extension of Chinese painters' sculpt has promoted the continuous development of Chinese figure painting.Mr.Wu Xiansheng,a contemporary painter,uses different expressive techniques to express different objective characters and convey different feelings.The characters in Wu Xiansheng's paintings are rigorous and thick in shape.Through vivid and meticulous description,they embody the spiritual state of various characters and reflect the social conditions of different characters.Based on the traditional Chinese figure painting techniques,he absorbed nutrients in the tradition,and at the same time paid attention to absorbing Western sketch methods and modern painting techniques,combining them for his own use.Wu Xiansheng combines western realistic techniques,not only vividly and delicately depicts the five features of the characters,but also focuses on the expression of "unlike" traditional Chinese characters in the clothing pattern,showing richChinese brush and ink language.Most of Wu Xiansheng's works are written by the center,and the movement of the figure's clothing pattern echoes the situation.The combination of calm and powerful facial portrayal and smart garment pattern portrayal not only echoes each other,but also forms a strong contrast.He embodies the combination of traditional Chinese figure painting and Western realistic modeling in his paintings.The thick and compact facial portrayal and the stretching of clothing lines are like a violin song.The rhythm has climax and relaxation.He organically combines the visual effects of strong contrast in a picture.The works have both heroic poetry and exquisite expression.It enriches the artistic language of the combination of Chinese traditional figure painting and Western realistic modeling.It has certain artistic value.Through long-term practical exploration,it creates its own artistic expression.His perseverance is also worth learning.
