The Application And Expression Of Time Concept In Abstract Painting

This paper explores the concept of time in abstract painting from the perspective of a painter.For the author,the concept o f time is not an ordinary concept of time,but a state of existe nce of the subject itself.Therefore,the article emphasizes the independent meaning of the concept of time,and believes that t he concept of time is only the realization of the interaction be tween the creator,the work and the viewer.In the first part,the introduction part explains the origin of the topic,the research significance,and the research statu s at home and abroad.The second part summarizes the expression and application of the time concept in several typical periods i n Western art.Due to the different cultural backgrounds of the times,the time concept in the artistic pursuit of each period i s not the same.The author only has the ability to seek typical time from several periods.Starting from the analysis of ideas,combing the dominant time views in the historical torrents,the author concludes that the time concept in these typical periods of painting still stays at a certain moment or moments in the li near time of recording.After all,it is still a way of recordin g external time.The third and fourth parts are the focus of thi s paper.The third chapter is based on Henry Bergson's theoretic al system to clarify what is true time and conceptually distinguish between time and time.From the exploration of Monet and Céz anne's paintings,the analysis shows that the paintings of Monet's late stage have gradually changed,and they begin to face the subjectivity of their internal consciousness and inject the con sciousness into the painting.Cézanne turned to a more profound inner time consciousness in painting.He advocated the pursuit o f eternal things from nature.Cézanne's painting is the organic unity of the past,the present and the future.In the fourth par t,Tan Ping,Wang Guangle and Mark Rosko are used as examples to analyze how the concept of time is expressed and applied in the works,and draw the consciousness that the artist's creative pr ocess has a time concept and extend his consciousness to the wor k.The existence of the work itself in the space and the interac tion with the art recipients.The process of the interaction bet ween the consciousness of the art recipient and the interaction of the work and feedback to the work is the completion of the ex istence of the time concept in the whole artistic creation proce ss.significance.The fifth part,from Henry Bergson's philosoph y and art theory,attempts to analyze the temporal concept and l eave it to us to let the theory guide the art practice.
