This paper takes You are on the Plateau as the research object,and combines with Zhang Wei's childhood memory and growth psychology in his prose and novel to explore his writing of growth theme.This paper mainly adopts the method of text close reading to analyze the influence of the writer's life experience on the construction of the growth text,the growth theme of You are on the Plateau,and the narrative characteristics of the Bildungsroman You are on the Plateau.The introduction includes three aspects: the current research situation of Zhangwei's novel,the reason of You are on the Plateau from the perspective of "growth",and the origin of Bildungsroman.The first chapter discusses the relationship between Zhang Wei's personal experience and the growth and writing of You are on the Plateau.From the writer's personal experience,Zhang Wei's special childhood experience has become his creative material into his works,and also laid a close emotional tone for his works.The experience of vagrancy in his teenage years has promoted his spiritual growth,and vagrancy has been endowed with various connotations,which has become an indispensable theme in his creation.In middle age,Zhang Wei lived in Wansongpu Academy poetically.The choice of real life prompted him to adhere to the consistent idealistic spirit in literature and guide the secular intellectualsto the spiritual plateau.The second chapter uses the method of text close reading to analyze the absence of favorable factors in the growth process of the protagonist from the perspective of individual life experience and social culture,and its harm to growth.In adulthood,the protagonist overcomes psychological obstacles through his own efforts,and has a deeper understanding of the world to achieve spiritual growth.Chapter three uses narrative theory to analyze the narrative characteristics of You are on the Plateau as a Bildungsroman and the differences between the narrative of Bildungsroman and that of general Bildungsroman.This paper explores the role of the change of the first person narrative perspective in observing growth,the textual significance of the shift between the protagonist's perspective and the witness' s perspective,and the unique implication of repetitive narration for the construction of the novel framework,enriching the text connotation and diversifying the interpretation of the theme.
