Shanxi has been one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization since ancient times.In the Qing Dynasty,a large number of Shanxi scholars,who had ascended the title of "the first official in the world," emerged as Yu Cheng-long,Chen Tingjing and Qi Yucao,the emperors,and Xu Jiyu,the author of Ying Wan Zhi.There are "Wuxu six gentlemen" one of the Yang Shen-xiu,there are Confucian businessmen qu Ben-Qiao and so on see the historical books of the figures.As an important index to measure the prosperity of a local style of literature,that is,the situation of the local imperial examination,the number of Shanxi advanced scholars in the Qing Dynasty and the proportion of the total number of advance scholars in the country are ahead of time,creating the largest number of scholars since the establishment of the imperial examination.Record,also produced many very famous imperial examination family,these imperial examination family plays a very important role in the local governance and construction.Taking the history of Shanxi Shizi as the main data,this paper analyzes the geographical distribution,marriage and inheritance of Shanxi imperial examination family by means of data statistics and case analysis combined with textual research,and analyzes the geographical distribution of Shanxi imperial examination family,marriage and inheritance of the whole industry,etc.This paper explains the special phenomenon of Shanxi imperial examination,including the origin of Shanxi merchants and imperial examination,and the education of Shanxi merchants' family.From Jiaqing to Guang Xu,54 pieces of Shanxi Zhu rolls were collected,involving a total of 54 Shanxi scholars.By comparing with the distribution of Shanxi Jinshi in Shanxi dynasties,it is concluded that the distribution of Shanxi Imperial examinationScholars is more than that of North and South,which is mainly related to the economic and cultural development of Shanxi in the Qing Dynasty,which is mainly related to the economic and cultural development of Shanxi in the North and South of the Qing Dynasty.Because of historical reasons,geographical location and climatic conditions,the development of economy and culture in North Shanxi is relatively backward.In the process of the continuation and development of the imperial examination family,the marriage between the imperial examination family and the guidance of the family to the family's imperial examination career are all very important factors.This allowed the imperial examination family to maintain its local prestige and strengthen its social status.In the Qing Dynasty,Shanxi was affected by terrain conditions,insufficient irrigation water sources and frequent meteorological disasters,together with the pressure of rapid population growth,which made a large number of people engaged in commerce.At the same time,thanks to its unique geographical position and the conditions for the rapid development of commodity economy in the Qing Dynasty,Jin merchants achieved two great developments in the Qing Dynasty,promoted the development of Shanxi's local economy,and created material conditions for the development of Shanxi Imperial examination.At the same time,because of the early pursuit of livelihood,Shanxi merchants had to "abandon Confucianism from business" to become rich after doing business to attach importance to future generations' education and the pursuit of scientific names,or heavy money donation officials,or encourage the children of the family to study and career advancement.At the same time,Jin Merchants also contributed to the development of Shanxi education in the Qing Dynasty by donating to colleges and universities.
