A Study On The Belief Of Dixian Immortals In Northeast China

Animal belief is one of the most common folk beliefs in northern China.It presents different social and cultural characteristics under the influence of different regions and historical environments.The northeastern region is a region where Han,Manchu and other northern minorities live together.It has been greatly influenced by shamanism in history.The beliefs of the Dixian immortals here have combined various local factors such as shaman culture and developed into a set of belief systems with local characteristics.Zhenlai is located in the northwestern part of Jilin Province.The belief in the Dixian immortals has a very strong regional character.It has played a significant role in the social order and attitude towards life in the region.Through the field investigation of the beliefs of the immortals in Zhenlai,Jilin Province,this paper deeply understands the existence of the beliefs of the immortals such as Hu,Huang,Chang and Mang,and explores how the beliefs of the immortals exist in their contemporary social conditions with their unique vitality.Through the field investigation and analysis of the beliefs of the Dixian immortals in Zhenlai,the author believes that the belief in the immortals is a kind of diffuse religion with a unique composition system and cultural features.The reason why it has tenacious vitality is twofold: one is The belief in the immortals was influenced by the shamanism in the northeast region,and this influence was maintained.The belief in the immortals reflects the cultural spirit consistent with the shamanism.Second,in the process of urbanization,the belief in the immortals can satisfy people to a certain extent.The needs at the spiritual level and the real level can give people some comfort.This thesis mainly uses anthropological field investigation method and participation observation method to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the beliefs of the Dixian immortals in the northeastern region,especially Zhenlai,and combines relevant literature and related theories to carry out this unique cultural phenomenon.Analysis and interpretation.The introduction part of the thesis mainly introduces the reasons for the selection of the thesis,the research basis and the research methods and research objectives of this thesis.The first chapter of the thesis introduces the source of the belief in the immortals,especially the influence of the population migration in the history of Zhenlai on the belief of the Dixian immortals and the basic status of the religious beliefs in Zhenlai.The second chapter mainly introduces the composition of the immortal beliefs.The god system;the third chapter mainly introduces the daily activities of the beliefs of the Dixian immortals,including the generation of the psychic “brother” and the religious rituals of the immortals.The fourth chapter discusses the practice of the belief in the Dixian immortals and the process of restoring the ritual.The fifth chapter discusses the positioning of the Dixian immortal belief in the spiritual world of the local people,and the influence and role of the immortal belief on social individuals and social groups.In the conclusion,the author mainly expresses the view on the future survival of the immortal belief,and how the government should better guide the belief in the Dixian immortality to become a positive factor in social harmony and stability.
