With the rise of the international status and prestige of China,it pays more attention on the cultivation and development of junior school students' English proficiency.English as the most useful language in the world,plays an important role on the communication of culture and technology globally.English writing is an important English skill,and it is also an important part of English teaching.However,in English teaching of junior high school,writing teaching is a weak point.Nowadays,the New Curriculum gives higher requirements for students' writing skills.This paper aims to study whether to improve the writing level of junior high school students through the "Scaffolding" writing teaching.In this paper,125 students from two classes(one is experimental class and the other is control class)of five ninth-grade teaching classes in Harla Middle School are selected as the research subjects to carry out a teaching and research experiment for nearly 17 weeks.In the first week,a questionnaire survey was conducted to the two classes to understand the current situation of students' writing.And three teachers were interviewed to find out the current situation of English writing teaching in junior high schools.In the seventeenth week,the students in the experimental class was surveyed again.It's about the students' satisfaction in the experimental class after the scaffolding writing teaching.At the same time the English writing tests were conducted in the two classes.Finally,the conclusion of this study is drawn by comparing the test results of the experimental class and the control class.The study shows that "scaffolding" writing teaching is helpful to improve students 'writing skill in junior high school.
