Analysis Of Translating Biographies Into Chinese From The Perspective Of Three Metafunctions Of Language

Systemic functional linguistics is established by Halliday,which helps people to understand systematically the nature and rules of using language.The problems of translation can be analyzed and solved systematically by using theories of systemic functional linguistics.This thesis will translate adaption of The Family Law based on three metafunctions of language of systemic functional linguistics,and compare and analyze The Family Law and its translation from the perspectives of ideational function,interpersonal function and textual function,in order to analyze whether the translation expresses what the original text wants to express and improve the quality of translation.
