What we call "tao" is the highest abstraction of existence form,while what we call "qi" is materialization of existence form.Yun Nantian's flower-and-bird painting is not completely detached from the shape,but is refined from shape to no surface image.After depicting objects,more details are omitted,and the objective existence of the "shape" is needed for the development of the embryonic form as a carrier for the performance of the metaphysical.Compared with the meticulous painting,the metaphysical should further refine,process,generalize,is the only way through the freehand.Freehand painting is a more sophisticated study,making a more advanced summary of the picture,using a simple pure language,thought added.Work,draw out the artistic conception and emotion of transmission,this is a process from form to meaning."meaning" is sent in the image and convey to the outside,the freehand works need pen and ink modeling foundation.Through Yun Nantian screen feel fresh and elegant,calm naive artistic conception.Yun Nantian's expression of "meaning" is higher than the idea of the image itself,the vivid presentation of charm,the use of tangible things to set off the invisible things,this is also the pursuit of the realm of Chinese painting.When I create a painting,avoid the form of rigid portrayal,learn to screen,refine,so that I write the state of my heart,to convey the true feelings of the self.
