The Fanpai wooden drum dance is a kind of sacrificial dance of Miao people passed down from generation to generation,which originated from Guzang Festival.It records the Miao migration history,reflects the Miao people's spiritual beliefs,and is the treasure of Miao culture.In the past,only once in thirteen drum festivals appeared.Until the 1950 s,it was discovered that the Fanpai wooden drum dance was inspired to enter the international stage,so that it could be seen on various occasions.In 2006,the Fanpai wooden drum dance inspiration was successfully selected into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list,attracting a large number of tourists to watch,but also attracted a large number of scholars and experts to study.The performance form of the Fanpai wooden drum dance inspiration is the combination of "drum" and "dance".Judging from the attributes of drums,the Fanpai wooden drum dance is actually a combination of "music" and "dance".Among the numerous literatures,the author finds that the researchers pay too much attention to dance and neglect music.Therefore,from the perspective of "music" and "dance" of anti-row timber inspiration,based on the theory of ethnomusicology,this paper studies the traditional culture of "the Fanpai wooden drum dance inspiration" in Fangzhao Village,Taijiang County,Guizhou Province,by means of literature collection,field investigation,interviews and videos.From the perspective of ethnomusicology,this study defines the origin of the Fanpai wooden drum dance as a field point,and takes the natural and human environment ofthe Fanpai wooden drum dance village as the background.Through the description of the Fanpai wooden drum dance in different fields,the conclusion is drawn that the Fanpai wooden drum dance has gradually changed from a ritual behavior to a performance behavior.Based on Times Rice's three-dimensional theory,this paper traces back to the root causes and analyses the cultural changes behind the change of the Fanpai wooden drum dance inspiration.This paper takes the the Fanpai wooden drum dance in Taijiang County as the research object,and divides it into four chapters to explain.The first chapter is an overview of the Fanpai wooden drum dance inspiration in Taijiang County.This paper describes the human and geographical environment of the Fanpai village in Taijiang County,traces back the origin of the Fanpai wooden drum inspiration and expounds its development status.Chapter two is the field record of the Fanpai wooden drum inspiration,describing the performance forms of the Fanpai wooden drum inspiration in different contexts.The third chapter is the analysis of the form of the Fanpai wooden drum dance music.Taking the timber drum music in the modern context as an example,the paper analyses its performance form and clarifies the inherent narrative nature of the Fanpai wooden drum dance from the relationship between music and dance.Chapter IV is the study of the cultural change of the Fanpai wooden drum dance music.During its long development process,the performance form has changed.It is this change that caters to the needs of the times and keeps it alive.However,the long-term development of the Fanpai wooden drum dance music has an indispensable relationship with its cultural change.Generally speaking,this study combines the theories and methods of many disciplines to comprehensively introduce the Fanpai wooden drum dance in different contexts,and uses the perspective of ethnomusicology to explore the changes ofthe Fanpai wooden drum dance culture from the perspective of the changes in the form of the Fanpai wooden drum dance in the modern context.Understanding the inherent law of development of the Fanpai wooden drum dance and clarifying the reasons for its change is of practical significance to the development and inheritance of the Fanpai wooden drum dance.
