In recent decades,many studies on third language acquisition at home and abroad have already put forward that English teaching should pay attention to the influence of students in third language acquisition,especially for minority areas.However,how to make most people notice that English teachers themselves are also from the Miao nationality areas,and Miao students can only speak Miao language but haven't learned Miao characters in their early age,whose pronunciations and intonations have been influenced by Miao language,Chinese and English.They have some defects and shortcomings which are difficult to be corrected.This paper takes the Miao students from Shidong Middle School as the research subject.Talking how to carry out the teaching of English phonetic symbols to improve Miao students' s English phonetics in English classroom,and what's the influence of negative transfer on the phonetic symbols acquisition in English for the Miao students as the main research problems.This paper adopts the methods of literature application,questionnaire survey,the methods of interview between students and teachers,and the methods of English classroom observation and teaching.At the same time,it sums up the data collations,forms and text demonstrations,to adjust the teaching methods on English teaching and activities.It puts forward more effective learning strategies and guidance for trilingual teaching and learning for the teachers andstudents.The conclusion of this paper is that the pronunciation commonality between Miao,Chinese and English can guide Miao students to learn English phonetic symbols in the process of English phonetic standard acquisition.At the same time,it can help Miao students to consolidate the foundation of English learning.In addition,the innovation of this paper is to design the trilingual teaching scheme of the English phonetic symbols between Miao,Chinese and English in Shidong Middle School,and putting forward detailed teaching guidance for the spelling and pronunciation rules of the English phonetic symbols.Finally,it is found that the trilingual teaching between Miao,Chinese and English in Miao nationality area can not only be used in English learning,but also can effectively guide and apply it to other studies.It has a much widen application in English teaching and learning field.
