Positive Illusion refers to the cognitive filter that individuals make to the negative aspects of themselves, their current situation and their future life in the face of threatening situations, and the result will be projected into their self-consciousness in the distorted form of retaining only good and positive information. This "slight distortion" of cognition makes positive illusion highly controversial. On the one hand,it may be a way for individuals to protect themselves from life events, and on the other hand,it is not an objective view of the world, which may lead to a series of negative consequences. Therefore,it is particularly important to explore whether there are positive illusions among the Gaokao Re-attendees and its influence on mental health. The purpose of this study was to compile the positive illusion questionnaire for college entrance examination repeat students and explore its influence on life events and mental resilience.734 Gaokao Re-attendees in kunming, yunnan province were selected as research objects, and Life Events Scale for Chinese Adolescents,self-edited Gaokao Re-attendees' Positive Illusion Questionnaire and Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescents were used as research tools. The results are as follows:(1)Positive illusions of Gaokao Re-attendees include excessively positive self-cognition,downward social comparison, exaggerated sense of reality control and blind optimism for the future;(2)Compared with girls, boys have more positive illusions; The excessively positive self-cognition level of the only child is significantly higher than that of the non-only child.Voluntary Re-attendees have higher level of positive illusion than involuntary Re-attendees.(3)The positive illusion level of Re-attendees with different interpersonal relationships was significantly different, and the students who thought they had good interpersonal relationships had the highest positive illusion level; The positive illusion level of the students with different family atmosphere was significantly different, and the positive illusion level of the students with harmonious family was the highest.Repeat students with financial stress were less likely to use positive fantasies to deal with frustration than students without financial stress.(4)Life events can significantly negatively predict the mental resilience and positive fantasy of Re-attendees;Positive illusion can significantly positively predict the resilience of repeat students.(5)Positive illusion plays as a mediator between life events and mental resilience, that is,the negative impact of life events on mental resilience is buffered by the addition of positive fantasy.
