A Research On Xiaosu's Series Of Novels About "Youcai Po"

Hubei writer Xiaosu's series of novels about "Youcai Po" with rural theme have personal characteristic very much,and aroused great response among critics and readers.However,generally speaking,the academic research on Xiaosu's series of novels about "Youcai Po" is still confined to the interpretation of specific text and the summary of writing features,but lack of systematic and in-depth research.Starting from the four dimensions of theme,plot,structure and language,this article makes a comprehensive study of Xiaosu's series of novels about "Youcai Po",so as to try to show their overall appearance and reveal their writing features and writing value.The article is divided into four chapters:Chapter one is "suffering and pleasure: personalized treatment of the theme." The suffering of farmers is the core theme of series of novels about "Youcai Po".And Xiaosu's treatment mainly reflect in telling suffering with way to comic stories and digging out the pleasure of life from suffering.This chapter consists of three parts: the first part reveals that the lack of material brought life suffering for farmers in Youcai Po from the material level;the second part discusses the depression and desertification of farmers' spirit in Youcai Po from the spiritual level;the third part discusses that farmers in Youcai Po have an abnormal way to seek the pleasure of life from suffering.Chapter two is "peripeteia,suspense and repetition: odd and fancy plot design".The first part of this chapter expound the plot peripeteia is not only a means to highlight the figures' fateless,but also a window for the author to discover humanity.The second part discusses how to set suspense in the plot so that readers can touch the humanity in the game of the text.The third part analyzes plot repetition can not only perspective the rural human affairs,but also observe the life tragedy of rural farmers.Chapter three is "irony,metaphor and compound: multi-dimensional construction of structure".This chapter divide into three parts: the first part mainly analyzes the textual framework and artistic function of irony structure;the second part discusses the metaphorical structure creates poetic aesthetic space and modern reflective space for the novel under the operation mechanism of symbolic narrative and allegorized narrative.The third part is the compound structure which shape forms of synchrony between present and past and network crossover of the network body greatly expanded the expression space of the novel.Chapter four is "humor,vagueness and lightness: multiple expressions of language".The first part of the chapter reveals that the humorous language is mainly embodied in the exaggerated description of the figures' sense and the humorous meaning of the figures' language.The second part is that the figure of speech of metaphor makes language ambiguous.Ambiguous language can not only bring beauty to people,but also reflect the author's wisdom.The third part discusses that the colloquial form and the tone of the "storytelling" style make the language of the novel light.From the above four levels,this paper comprehensively discusses significance of Xiaosu's series of novels about "Youcai Po" from the three aspects: the writing of hometown,the initiative significance of native narrative and the value to artistic creation of contemporary short and medium novels.
