Multi-dimensional Study On The Structure Of "X 化"

This paper makes an investigation on the structure of"X化",the structure is used commonly in written Chinese especially in political style and literature comment. Based on the theory of"small sentence center"and theories related to social linguistics and psychological linguistics, the paper describes and explains"X化"from different angles. This paper is divided into six parts:Chapter One introduces the current research on"X化",at the same time, it points out the purposes of the paper and where the linguistic material comes from.Chapter Two makes an investigation from the inner part of"X化",it describes the characteristic of"X"by four aspects: syllable ,grammar, structure and type.Chapter Three is the most important part of this paper, it probes into the syntactic function, semantic expressions and pragmatic value of"X化"when it is in sentence.Chapter Four explains why so many"X化"exist in modern Chinese by the way of social linguistics and psychological linguistics.Chapter Five makes a suggestion on how to teach"X化"in Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language.Chapter Six is the summary of the paper.
